Directions, Parking & Event Transportation Information

Please use the directions given below when arriving – they have been chosen to minimize congestion and confusion. If your GPS or mapping software suggests a different route or an exit other than Exit 169, please disregard it – other exits are not suitable for motorhomes. These directions apply to all coaches – Family Attendees, Committee, Vendors and Exhibitors.

Driving Directions:

The West Virginia State Fairgrounds is just to the south of downtown Lewisburg, West Virginia.

Lewisburg is located off I-64, about 15 miles west of the Virginia / West Virginia State Line. Traveling in either direction on I-64, take Exit 169, turn South on US 219, and follow the instructions given in the next paragraph. The Fairgrounds itself will be on your left heading south. Campground Parking, the Staging/Holding Areas, and the Will Call kiosk will all be on your right directly across from the Fairgrounds.

After turning on US 219, continue to proceed south a little over 3 miles through the town of Lewisburg – you will pass through a total of 7 traffic lights if you are arriving from the east, or 6 if from the west. After the last light, the roadway will split into separate northbound and southbound lanes – keep to the right on the southbound side. About 0.7 mile after the split, turn right across from Gate 3 into the West Camping Area of the Fairgrounds – watch carefully for GEAR signs directing you into this area. Parking personnel will direct you from this point to your final spot.

Event Transportation

Activity carts will be manned by volunteers and running from the parking areas and all events, including the evening events.  This free transportation is offered to all attendees free of charge.  Just flag them down.
